Grandpa Dudley

Davis' Grandpa Dudley passed away last Friday. A viewing was held for him last night and then today was his funeral. I was unable to go to the funeral because of work so Dave had to go represent for the both of us. I was lucky enough to meet Grandpa Dudley a couple of times. He was a man who wanted what he wanted and nobody was going to stop him. He voiced his opinion loud and clear and was always making me laugh. When Davis and I went and visited him a year or so ago he told Davis SEVERAL times to hold onto me because "I was a good catch". It made us laugh because we weren't even dating at the time. Davis tried telling him this, but he wouldn't listen. I guess he knew something we didn't :) When I was watching the video that the family had made for him last night at the viewing I could see just how much he loved Grandma Dudley and how much fun they had over the years. It broke my heart to hear Grandma Dudley say last night that she didn't know what she's going to do without him. They were truly best friends and it made me so happy that I had found mine. We will miss you Grandpa Dudley!
